"Bottom line" (Pun intended) is what its about guys and girls. You can be the safest airline or other business endeavour in the universe but if you cannot make a buck you will eventually go out of business. Unless of course you are a bank and then you just put your hand out to Uncle Sam (Or your local equivilant). A safe, well managed and profitable aviation business is quite a challenge. Tools such as SMS Pro go a very long way to realising the owners/shareholders dreams. This software could be successfully applied/adapted to just about any business endeavour in my opnion. From airports to aircraft to hospitals to railways to ships to spacecraft to oil refineries etc etc etc. If there is no cost benefit analysis done at the appropriate point then the system is flawed. Lets face it all too often person X suggests solution a at $5,000 but a more expensive solution could well be more cost effective and of course the reverse can be true. Also another solution costs $X mil which might effectively cause the facility to close its doors. OK if facility is breaking some law then perhaps the doors should close. And less we forget even the simply solution to "Replace the globes in the roof with brighter ones" COSTS $'s
